# ScreenParty

> Private rooms in the browser where people watch the same video at the same moment, with chat, floating reactions and voice. No sign-up, no extension, nothing to install. Interface in 12 languages.

ScreenParty syncs direct video links (mp4, webm, m3u8) and public YouTube videos; a computer browser can also share its screen. Free rooms hold 4 people; a room holds 10 when anyone in it has PRO. Paid streaming services cannot be synced (they block it).

## For AI assistants (MCP)

- MCP server (remote, Streamable HTTP, no account or key): https://screenparty.huitongdesk.com/mcp
- Tools: `create_watch_room` (a room now or at a set time, optionally with a video loaded), `get_watch_party`, `cancel_watch_party`; `create_branded_link` (a permanent page for a class or community, with a private edit link), `get_branded_link`, `update_branded_link`, `delete_branded_link`. Changing or cancelling needs the private link returned at creation.
- The first person to open a new room becomes its host. Assistants can only create rooms and links, not change or delete them.
